  6. Workshops and industry conferences.
  7. Online- do not overlook the power of an online mentor-mentee relationship.

10 ways to get the most from a mentoring relationship

  1. Don’t ask for a roadmap- ask advice on how to navigate
  2. Remember to give and take- reciprocate
  3. Mentorship is not a life vest
  4. Don’t insist on coffee- be flexible
  5. Don’t be afraid to ask- ask a lot of questions
  6. Be mentor worthy and mentor ready
  7. Get more than one
  8. Don’t ditch when the mentor throws out a challenge
  9. Start small and grow- ask more of your mentor without demanding it
  10. Thank!- Be thankful
