The word mentor comes from a character in Homer’s epic tale, The Odyssey named Mentor. He was a trusted friend of Odysseus and an advisor. During the Trojan War, Mentor served as counsel to Odysseus’ son Telemachu.

    • Be honest about mistakes you’ve made
