Killing it With 10x Growth
I love the concept of 10x growth. I have long subscribed to the idea that setting a goal for 10x growth forces outside the box, original and (in some cases) extreme thinking. In this episode of the Family Before Fortune Podcast we talk about setting those 10x goals and making the effort to accomplish them.

Main topic:
This week our subject of focus is 10x goal setting. A great example of this is Takeru Kobayashi.
- In 2001 Kobayashi won the SuperBowl of food challenges, the New York Hot Dog Eating Contest
- At 23 years of age, 5’8” and of slight build- how could he compete with the champions?
- At the time the record was 25 ½ hotdogs in 12 minutes
- That year he ate 50
- How did he do it?
- He changed the question -Instead of asking how can I eat more hot dogs, he asked how he could make eating hotdogs easier
- End to end eating
- Combination meat/bun
- Dunking bun
- 10x thinking is about asking different questions. Looking for answers that are not immediately apparent.
- He changed the question -Instead of asking how can I eat more hot dogs, he asked how he could make eating hotdogs easier
