If we want to be successful in life, if we want to create the life of our dreams, we will need to pass through times of struggle; times of late nights, early mornings, meetings, reports, frustration, stress, disappointment and triumph. These times are Medical (Med) School.

8 ways that we can overcome the stress of med school

  1. Know yourself and what triggers your anxiety.
  2. Give yourself a break. Take a time-out.
  3. How you eating? Eat well and watch the caffeine (alcohol).
    1. Do not skip any meals. Do keep healthful, energy-boosting snacks on hand.
    2. Aggravate anxiety and trigger panic attacks.
  1. Sleep. Many times your body needs additional sleep and rest.
  2. Consistent Exercise
  3. Do your best and recognize some things are outside of our control.
  4. Laugh
  5. Get involved – serve.
    1. Be active in your community & make friends
