4 step process to become indispensable:

  1. Figure out what you are good at, your skills
  2. Pick one skill (from #1) that is important to your role
    • You have passion, but your organization doesn’t need is a hobby
    • Your organization needs, but you don’t have passion is a chore
  3. Figure out a complementary skill you can improve on
  4. Work on that complementary skill
